
Scheduling Counseling Appointments
Getting started with counseling begins by scheduling your initial intake assessment. To set up this first appointment, you’ll need to contact our front desk. They will create your online client portal access, where you’ll complete your intake paperwork and consent forms before your first session. These forms must be completed in advance so we can begin your counseling smoothly and on time.

Once you have completed your intake appointment, ongoing counseling sessions can be scheduled in several convenient ways:
- During your session directly with Travis
- By contacting our front desk to find an available time
- Through the online client portal, where you can view Travis’ availability and schedule appointments that fit your schedule
Regular attendance is important for your progress in counseling. If you need to reschedule, please contact the front desk or Travis as soon as possible so your time can be offered to another client. If you no-show for an appointment or cancel with less than a 24 hour notice you may be charged a no-show or late-cancellation fee, which cannot be billed to insurance. Repeated missed or late-canceled appointments may result in discontinuation of services.
If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, please call or text Travis directly at 269-348-0432 to let him know. The front desk staff do not work every day or during all business hours, so if you leave a voicemail there, Travis may not receive your message for a few days.
For added convenience, you can also manage your appointments through the Simple Practice Client Portal app, which allows you to easily view, schedule, or adjust your sessions right from your phone.
